Antique French Eglomise Souvenir Jewelry Box Casket Versailles Temple of Love c1900. A few chips on the glasses mostly on the corners (see photos). The cushion is in good condition. Overall in decent condition for its age.

"Eglomise" is the French name for the back-painted glass panels. That technique was used mostly in the second half of the 19th century up to 1910. Some of the souvenir boxes even have mother of pearl panels inlaid so that some parts shimmer with pearlescent light.
