Local Art - Ellie Hoffman

Working primarily in ink and watercolor, Ellie Hoffman explores themes of adventure, whimsy, and girlhood, often featuring her own treasured daughters as muses. Soft tones weave through Ellie’s art with bursts of stars, ruffles and flowering moss to create deeply emotive works. Ellie Hoffman is as an artist, mother, avid reader and possibly a selkie in disguise. In addition to her paintings, Ellie also creates one of a kind embroidered ornaments including selkie babies, star babies and ranchu goldfish.
