The Curious Nest is home to an assortment of found and created treasures. From French antiques and found objects to one-of-a-kind artwork created by local PNW artists, our hope is to present a collection of unique and ever-changing items to complete your own nest. Created in 2010, Laurent Gallego and Andrea Savar combined their love of French antiques and art onto one brick and mortar shop to showcase their highly curated aesthetic.

Laurent Gallego is passionate about antiques from his home country of France. His trips back to Europe to source one-of-a-kind pieces never disappoints our collectors. We specialize in quality French antiques, Catholic iconography, jewelry & unusual 19th century curiosities.
We also have a large selection of natural history engravings and found objects as ephemera is one of Laurent’s favorite niche items. We love to share our latest finds from France, Italy, Greece as well as French Polynesia.

Andrea Mina Savar (www.andreasavar.com) is an award-winning artist in the mediums of jewelry, beadwork, painting/illustration, fiction writing and textile art. Inspired by the natural world; leaves, flowers and creatures of all kinds tend to wiggle their way into her art. She is a citizen of the Cherokee Nation and a certified TERO artist.
She has always been intrigued by the concept of the Cabinet of Curiosities. Collecting unique treasures to then weave into an eclectic one-of-a-kind adornment is what makes her heart sing. In addition to her own artwork, she curates the shop’s art shows and small batch merchandise with a dedication to diversity and sustainability.
